The Wellington Drama Festival

In November each year the Wellington Theatre Company, located at the Belfrey Theatre, hosts a Drama Festival, for both Adults and Youth, aimed at encouraging Amateur Drama in Shropshire and beyond.

All entries to the Festival will be adjudicated. Companies who are familiar with Festivals will be well aware of the benefits resulting from an assessment by an experienced eye. Youth drama groups, in particular, can gain immeasurably from adjudication.

Festival Rules

The 37th festival will be held on 30st October - 6th November 2010

Entries for the 37th (2010) festival are required by 6th September 2010

The compulsory viewing date for the Festival will be held on 31st October 2010. 

Entry fees are £ 40 per full length entry and £20 per one act entry and are non-returnable.  Please make cheques payable to The Wellington Theatre Co and enclose with entry forms.

The Awards Night will take place on 8th November 2008 after the performance of the closing play.
