  • Another success for the cast of NINE, Laura Delves and Roxy Roscoe, who were runners-up at the Shropshire Drama Festival and went on to represent the county at the Quarter Final at Burton-upon-Trent where Laura received a nomination for Best Actress. Also, congratulations to Ali Fear who garnered the Best Director award at Shropshire for NINE. And to Belfrey Youth who won the Youth section at Shropshire with D.I.Y. Frankenstein Outfit, with Madison Coyle taking away the Best Youth Actress award. And to Jess Bracken who got the Best Supporting award for her part in Players’ production of Red Balloon. […]

  • Wellington Theatre Company's production of The Glass Menagerie was performed at The Gaiety Theare, Douglas, IOM on Wednesday 3rd April as part of their Easter Festival. At the awards ceremony on Friday 5th April Hugh Jones was awarded best supporting actor. Congratulations to Hugh for winning this award with such tough competition. Those who went were - Actors, Jack King as Tom, Margaret Leigh as Amanda, Clare Foster as Laura and Hugh Jones as Jim, the gentleman caller. The entries have now been read and judged by a panel of actors, writers and directors and we are pleased to announce that the winning entry is: ‘Do You Mind’ by Allan Williams. The standard of the other entries was such that choosing a runner-up was impossible.
